Simply Devine Woman

This department will house and produce both the online and print publication of Simply Devine Woman magazine. S.D.W will not be limited to just the magazine, but it will be an outreach to plus sized women who are in need of building or rebuilding their self-confidence and self-worth. Simply Devine Woman will hold events, including but not limited to: seminars, empowerment weekends, and getaways to help boost the solidarity in the plus size community amongst plus sized women.

Simply Devine Woman Magazine will highlight the strength and beauty of plus-sized women while emphasizing the importance of tackling issues pertinent to their daily lives including health, family, relationships, education and career. The magazine will showcase newly formed and well-established businesses and will be a resource and forum for students, entrepreneurs, working mothers, housewives, designers, models, and writers of all genres who all represent this ever-growing market.

What makes SDWunique from most magazines is that at the helm is Celina Williams. Ms. Williams is a plus-sized woman who fervently believes in speaking to the ever-increasing number of women who make up the realm of the size 14+ world. She plans on taking this magazine places that no other magazine has been.

Queen Aishah from Hyattsville, MD will be our 1st cover story. She is a vivacious up-and-coming plus sized comedienne. You might have seen her grace the television in a commercial for Verizon.

There will be four quarterly issues along with several smaller, specialty issues throughout the year. SDW will also be releasing smaller issues in between the major issues to keep the spotlight on the women writers and women around the country. SDW, alongside Devine Visions Ent. will give plus sized women a chance to model fashions from retail and online shops from around the country, highlighting the season fashions. SDW will cover and highlight topics, showcase plus size models outside of the newsstand publications.
